A new study shows the state’s attractions, which draw more than 80 million visitors a year, are among the most visited in the nation.
According to the Oklahoma Tourism Bureau, Oklahoma’s attractions have about a quarter of the country’s total number of visitors, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
The state also has about 7 million annual visitors, the bureau says.
Oklahoma is home to more than 4 million businesses and nearly 100 million people, the report says.
The state is also among the top 10 for the number of people who visit amusement parks, the tourism bureau says, followed by Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Illinois and California.
